- Milton Country Park Autumn Festival
- King's Parade
I only found this one when I was tidying up the folder today. It's from Friday's first attempt at street photography. I was sitting on the wall of King's College and people wandered past and stopped to do this. - Dave
This one was taken with permission and was good for several reasons, not least because I now know Dave's name and he knows mine (we were previously only nodding acquaintances) and he also seems to be pretty deaf so I was pleased that I succeeded in asking to take his photo. He was very gracious in letting me. (I could have done with better light might you but you have to take what you can get sometimes.) - The Mayor of Cambridge

Somehow I think this is one person I will be revisiting. I was really just playing with the WiFi remote on the NEX-6 but I liked my curious expression and the way I'm framed straight off the camera. - Dim Sum
And this is the other reason I was in Cambridge today. It's Dim Sum day. - Buying asparagus on the market
In some ways I think this one works better in colour as you get the reds, greens, and yellows of the veg but let's keep to the B&W theme. - On Market Hill
My first attempt at "street" photography with the NEX-6. This is a crop from a grabbed photo. She was with a group of Japanese(?) men whose heads you can see around her but luckily for me the camera had the good taste to focus on her. - Paul
Another village dog walker so easy prey for me. - Pam
- Pam and Trixie
Trixie is older in dog years - Experimenting with B&W
Beth grooming Jessie, who looks more grumpy than she really is. This is really an experiment with levels: I've pushed the whites up and the blacks down to produce are more artistic effect. I'm quite pleased with how it looks for most photos of people I've tried it on so far but needs some more work before I can turn it into a process.
